so this just happened, and my parents are cooler than yours

This is how you like to have fun too, right?!

Yup. I am officially registered for my first full marathon! I am super excited to tackle a new challenge and test my current limits once again. And what could make running my first full marathon any more special? I'll tell you what. My folks are coming to RUN it with me! They have run 2 already and are going to continue to prove how awesome they are by running their third and seeing their oldest across the finish! 

In addition to my folks, the contingent of halfcrazyrunners is continuing to grow daily! It looks like there will be 6 of us running the full and 3 running the half, including this awesome friend who will be running her very first half! 

In other news that isn't really news, IT IS FLIPPIN' HOT OUTSIDE. It was over 90 here yesterday and was already 72 at 6am when I ran. I am glad I decided to buy this little fella for short runs when I don't want to carry my big FuelBelt.

So that's the latest. Tonight is a BIG night in our family. Addison is running her very first race at the Cinco de Mayo fun run! I am so proud of her and even more proud that I get to run with her! I will be racing the 5k after the fun run and am hoping to put the smack down on a new PR despite the fact it is expected to be 86 degrees when the gun goes off at 7pm.
